Ozernoe Ore

The MBC Corporation holds License UDE 140 76 TP
(issued on 23 May 2007) for subsurface use within the
Ozernoe ore cluster in the territory of Yeravninsky district
of the Republic of Buryatia for the purpose of
geological exploration - prospect evaluation of the deposits
of lead, zinc, copper, iron ore and associated components. The
nearest settlements are Ozerny settlement and Gunda village.
The licensed area is 762.4
km2.
Prospect evaluation activities at the site were
launched in 2008 and are carried out in accordance with the
approved project. A number of potentially gold bearing areas at ore
zone level have been identified as a result of 2008-2009 prospect
evaluation survey.
It is planned to carry out estimation of
prognostic resources (P1 and P2) estimation
by the end of 2010.
Bakchar iron ore
occurrence
License ТОМ 01334 ТР was transferred to “Bakchar
Stal” LLC on 26 September 2008 for a target purpose of
iron ore geological exploration and mining at the Polynyansky
subsurface area of the Bakchar iron ore field. The zone is
located in Bakchar district, 200 km north-west of Tomsk.
The licensed area - 37.5 km2.

At present the company carries out design and
exploration work and verification drilling (exploration and
appraisal drill holes).
Well-known Russian and international companies,
including AMC Consultants and HATCH, are involved in the
project.
Deposit development will promote formation of a
new industrial area and in many respects will determine further
prospects of Tomsk region economic and social development.
