In  early 2007 the MBC Corporation founded the MBC RESOURCES in the framework of  its pilot lead-zinc programme. The company’s assets have included Ozernoye and Kholodninskoye zinc-lead deposits (Republic of Buryatia). Mining and processing plant is under design and construction at Ozernoe deposit.

At present MBC RESOURCES is one of the world leaders in zinc and lead reserves, holding 47% of Russia’s total Zn reserves and 24% of total Pb reserves (over 18 mln tons of zinc and more than 3 mln tons of lead).
