Social responsibility is an important component of the system of corporate values, as well as a basis of the company’s development strategy. The MBC Corporation provides sponsor support to projects in such spheres as culture, education, science and sports in the regions of project implementation. It also takes part in projects directed at the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of the Republic of Buryatia.

Since 2006 the Corporation has been carrying out a scholarship programme aimed at providing assistance and support  to the most gifted and promising young people of the Republic of Buryatia. After school the selected young people continue their education at the St.-Petersburg Plekhanov State Mining Institute to become highly-professional specialists for the mining industry of Buryatia. 
MBC Corporation received the “Charity – 2008”  award in the Republic of Buryatia.
